I love all 12 of these stories! I bet you will too if you like crisp language, carefully crafted plots, characters that you'd like to breathe life into so that you could take them out to dinner or visit with them in real time, Christmas and, happy endings. I promise not to spoil things for you but, here are a few of my favorite things: after reading "Time to Get Your Jingle On," you'll want to get your own silver bell, the bath tub scene in "Pearls For Christmas," is hilarious, half-way through "One Cool Cat," you'll be silently cheering for Dennis as he struggles to save his marriage and plots to convince the most skeptical of his children that Santa will always find her. And, speaking of Santa, after you've read "Polishing the Candy Apples," you may have to re-think your own visions of that "jolly old elf."I read this book in snatches of time, between wrapping Christmas presents and all of the last minute things that I needed to do to get ready for the holidays in my own home. And, I even found myself sneaking upstairs to get away from some of the bustle and mayhem to chuckle over just one more story. This book gets my own 5 star review of: hand-clap, hand-clap. Standing Ovation!

I loved this little book! The stories were a quick read, imaginative and fun! I would recommend this to all who enjoy good short stories!!
I love this book. I think the selections for this compilation was a perfect blend. I like short stories and lite readings. This one is a keeper and one I will review over and over.
I got this book because of a friend who had written one of the stories. It is a good one, and what I have read of the others are also good reading. It is a nice book of little stories that just make youy feel good.
Fifty Shades of Santa is a breath of fresh air, with 12 short stories that will uplift you and make you smile. Each story is different, but just as enjoyable as each other. I would highly recommend this book to anyone wanting something that they can pick up and read at any time.
Finally a quiet morning and read Fifty Shades of Santa, a wonderful collection of twelve short stories. All are well-written and carry the meaning of Christmas and romance. You won't find any harshness or SM here and that's what makes it so delightful. Friendly tales with mall Santas, angels, cats, dogs, Santas carrying the true message of Christmas to a Grinchy man... and of course Santas bringing romance to the lonely and unemployed. So, get a cup of hot cocoa, your favorite blankie and curl up with this warm-hearted collection of romantic Santa stories.
After diving into these short stories, I have decided I definitely need to focus on selecting more "nice" in my reading materials. What a relief to sit down with a cup of tea and a quick, sweet romance that leaves you with a smile on your face. There are happy endings! The world isn't hard and cruel after all. Love can be simple and uplifting, just as we always hoped it would be. I picked up this book because I am a fan of Peg Nichols, one of the authors, but I am enjoying all of the short stories it contains. This is great pre-holiday reading!
I am only 1/4 of the way through this book, but I can say the stories I've read so far have lots of spark and lots of spice. There's parts that warm your heart, and there's bits of humor that make you chuckle, and there's parts that make you shake your head in agreement.
I will also say I was not expecting Lucille Ball or Carol Burnett moments, but that is exactly what I got when I read "Pearls For Christmas." It takes a skillful author to take a few moments, and "explode" it into a hilarious scene. The bathtub scene tickles from the beginning to the end. (I find lots of things humorous, but I don't often laugh out loud. This story made me laugh out loud over the well-crafted physical comedy, in the same vein as Ball or Burnett.)
None of the tales are explicit--they're nice, not naughty. Buy it. I don't think you will be disappointed.
