I loved reading these books. I’ve never been much into the whole religion thing but reading these books brings in a lot of religious things that make the story come a little bit more alive. I feel like you can really feel the story mature the further you read.

My daughter loves these books! She had read the first in the series as an ebook, and wanted the rest of these for Christmas 2015. I found this hardcover set at a great price. She was thrilled to get "real" books!! I highly recommend the entire series in ANY format, and the condition and quality of these books will surely be a treasure for her for years to come.
I love this series so much and would for sure recommend the sequil- Fallen in Love. BUT WARNING do not read the sequil until you have read at least the first 3 novels.
I read all four books in less than 3 weeks. I couldn’t put them down. Love the story and the ending!!
If you are looking for a great series that involves Angels, mortals, teenage angst that includes love and lust - this is a must buy. I immediately fell in love with this series and have re-read it countless times. Every time I read it I find another piece of the story that I missed the last time I read it or at least I come to understand the story a little better with each read. It is such a great story that covers many life times of love adn loss and it takes you along on the journey to witness whether this love if that is worth all it has endured and lost in the end. I promise this is not a waste of your time or money.

I was hooked from the very beginning and just so you know, that big question both you and Luce have from the beginning won’t be answered until nearly the very end. When you finally know, you’ll be so happy you were patient enough to get that far. Absolutely would recommend this read to anyone interested in the genre. Also would recommend Throne of Glass and the Mortal Instruments, all magnificent books that were well thought out and keep you on edge until the very end.
I picked up my kindle tonight and one of my kids must have downloaded this book. I started reading it and it was really interesting and I couldn't stop until I got to the end. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
I loved this series! As soon as I began reading it i wasnt able to put it down. I was able to bring all the characters to life in my mind, which I love doing. I was able to feel the emotionroof these character and I enjoyed the overall storyline. I gave it a 4 because I felt that they did drag a bit in the 3rd book. I felt that we didn't need to travel so much with Lucinda to get the point the author was making but that was my only dislike. Other than this, I enjoyed the series.
